Through the years I’ve used a lot of different brands of Cameras, lenses and lights for all kinds of assignments. However, I’ve always enjoyed all my friends in the photo industry and always kept in touch even if I wasn’t using their products. Late in 2021 my friend at TamronAmericas came to me with a lens she thought I would be very interested in and the transition started the 35-150 F2-2.8 Tamron lens opened a whole new world for me, it was a Sony mount and I didn’t use Sony cameras. Another friend at Sony made me an offer I couldn’t refuse so now I’m a Sony user! My lighting was much too big and cumbersome for on the go photoshoots, so another long time friend from 8x10 film days now at Profoto said I have some you may like!! Famous last words! So armed with all this gear I really enjoy using I’m off to photograph a magazine cover shoot and I couldn’t be happier with my choice and also my friends who always have my back!!
