A night out at the movies sounded tame compared to what she used to do as an agent. That was exactly why she had agreed to go with Aaron, and she thought that a night away from the club where he worked would do him some good, too. The movie they both picked turned out to be a dud, and with them seated wayyyy in the back, they ended up getting…frisky. “Promise you won’t be too loud?” she whispered as she helped him tug his jeans further down his legs. She was wearing a dress anyway, so it was easier for her.

Bill smiled appreciatively as the steaming cup was handed to him. “Thank you,” he responded, enjoying the way that the warmth seeped into his palms as he held it to his chest. “And this is the one with cocoa, right?” The writer inquired, not wanting to turn this pleasant fall afternoon into a trip to the emergency room. 

“Because I don’t think that my apple allergy will take too well to the cider,” he joked.

The writer looked up from his laptop, blue eyes finding Daniel's curiosity shining in them. "I'm never too busy to help," Bill replied easily and stood from his desk. He reached out and rested a palm on the other's hip, thumb tracing over the bone gently. "What's going on?"

She underestimated her cravings. Aaron had been gone for hours, and she had wanted those dumplings for nearly the same time. So maybe she shouldn’t have gone out herself in the middle of the night, but she was starving. Maya looked up from the steaming food and took a bite, loving the juicy, meaty explosion that helped settle her stomach. “Because the baby and I needed to.”

Brows lifted curiously as blue eyes looked over the takeout that Daniel was holding. Definitely his favourite, something he hadn’t been expecting the brunette to remember at all since he had just mentioned it in passing. Actually, Bill didn’t really remember mentioning it at all. 

Maybe it was a coincidence after all.

“Yeah, definitely that. Can’t say I’m mad at it though. Unless, of course, you’re not sharing.”
