WE ARE PROUD MEMBERS OF THE 1% FOR THE PLANET GLOBAL MOVEMENT
The evidence is overwhelming: climate change is a real threat (although Trump and his crew are still claiming that it is a lie). Our world’s food supply system is increasingly stressed, and our lands, waters, and species are threatened like never before.
The picture is clear: we do have a challenge and if we don’t act now, the viability of our planet and our quality of life will face a great threat.
This is our motivation to join the 1% FOR THE PLANET global movement. We are very happy to announce that, from now on, for every purchase of Firmamento, one percent of it will be donated to a non-profit organization committed to protecting the health of our planet. This way, all of us as individuals take responsibility and make a little, but important, contribution to the environment.
1% for the Planet represents a new model of philanthropy. It is an efficient and powerful tool for donating money to international nonprofits organizations that work for protecting our planet. It is a global platform that does really well in fueling greater collective impact through their proven network. Their focus is on six main areas to which donations will be addressed to: climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife; as they are the most critical areas of environmental impact.
