Probably saw Rennala and Radagon when they were fighting eachother/ aftermath of the war and just; decided that they're the masters that they will follow.

But like the duo kind of just added them into the relationship and they just didn't notice that.

Low-key took a long time for them to realize that they are, indeed, part of a relationship with their masters. They just assumed all of the affections and stuff that were given to them were just rewards for something.

I love how Carian consort basically is the one that planted the idea of "f the golden order" through casual comments.
