For the record this is what I mean when I say Vanus Galerion likely murders Warlock Carindon from Selene's Web and Lair of Maarselok

I could post the full backstory about Carindon and Selene and the Mage's Guild pact with her because most of it is either dungeon content or "meet the character" out of game stories. But for now all you need to know is the founder of the Mages Guild is implied to have "imaginatively" murdered a dude for basically kidnapping and experimenting on an ancient Changeling spirit
