18: Underwater kiss

【❄】 Well, great, how the hell would that work when there was nothing up here but snow?

✦ At Red’s hesitance, a certain mun decided to shatter the fourth wall and drop Red and Daisy in Vermilion City, right by the water. Crimson optics darted from the water, to Daisy, and back, and after a tense pause, he gave a small sigh, nodding toward the water and shrugging. With that, he removed his hat and jumped into the water, and when his rival’s sister followed after him, he inhaled deeply before going under completely.

✦ It was a moment before he could open his eyes completely and make out Daisy’s blurred face. This would have to be brief, or both of them would run out of breath. The elite gently placed a hand on either side of Daisy’s face and planted a kiss right on her lips. It was a short-lived one - not only was this awkward for Red, but frankly, he liked being able to breathe.

✦ Upon breaking the surface of the water again, air filling his lungs again, Red exchanged a glance with Daisy, smiling apologetically. The first thing out of his mouth once he had the breath to speak again was, “Don’t tell Green.”
