             what were they like ?        seemed like such an    INNOCENT    question with an underlining undertone of curiosity.         just trying to dig deeper into the past of the vampire that just    WANDERED IN.        the now    ( second )    oldest of the coven   &   yet not even turned by the leader.         WELCOMED   WITH   OPEN   ARMS.        despite so many cracks needing to be patched.          his constant loss of control  ,  depression  ,  and more importantly       PANIC ATTACKS        leading them to drop everything and work him through it.        a simple drop of blood releasing a    beast    that seemed to be in so much    pain.        he  didn't  blame  her  curiosity.        in fact if he were in her position   ,   his would be the same.         ———— there was a difficult swallow.         pride   ,   memory   ,   overall regret of his decisions.        a simple      YOU  AREN'T  THAT  ANYMORE       didn't even ease his mind.         because he   was   that.       HE DID THOSE THINGS.         taking so many lives   ,    crushing so many souls.        he did that.       to him he should always mourn it.

tongue  peeked  from  behind  fang  and  lip ,          brushing over his bruised lower.         HE HAD BEEN BITING.   popping harshly through the skin as scarred fingertips curled around the oak of beam.         ❛     they were innocent ——    caught in a crossfire.   ❜        golden curls fell   ,   cupping   ,   curling around paled marble like cheeks.        wisping around his tightening jaw and hiding away the scars along his chin and throat.         he attempted to smile   ,   BUT IT WAS FRAGILE.         a crack of attempting humanity   ,   of good.         trying to scrub the blood of his hands with    STEEL WOOL.         trying to make up for the mistakes.         ( he didn't deserve this chance. ).     you disgusting monster .        he was a horrid demon in his human years . . . and in death.        his vision BLURRING     as the faces of so many   ,    b e g g i n g        for that life.         so hurt that he turned on them   ,   they thought they were doing good.        LET THEM LIVE.        LET THEM RUN FROM HER WRATH.
