Ok fun idea I want to draw but have we considered Emmrook in a modern au with magic where he is a professor at a prestigious university with the other companions, and the person he’s dating is Rook who is the janitor

I feel like I should share this but last night I had a dream where everything was the same for Veilguard except for some reason Emmrich is a centaur, and like nobody questions it at all.
This is kind of what his horse half looked like in my dream if was so funny
I think it would have been funnier if in the beginning Solas was like you know what fuck you, woe nightmares be upon ye. To Rook. And you spent some scenes in a twisted version of a Nightmare conducted by Solas
How I imagine Fenris spends his days in the mansion if he’s not in your party during quests
If you think about it Ghilan’nain and Elgar’nan kind of have the look of Homestuck trolls
I’d like to introduce my Rook: Isenril Mercar
Faction: Shadow Dragons
Class: Dagger/Orb Mage that specializes in Spellblade
I need to get more photos of him and do a rerun on nightmare mode, but I plan to tap about him as wel as make art.
Ok so I am on my second playthrough for Veilguard, and just have one small thing to say. Warning for sort of spoilers down below!!
Theres a lot of things I like and dislike this game, but I don't want to say much bc I feel like I'll just add fuel to the fires of ppl who absolutetly hate this game. It's a lot of fun! And if you ignore a lot of things that happen in the story (the destruction of the South and your past choices) it is fun.
Basically I just had a thought about DAO/DA2 and how the companions work as well as how you can interact with them. I think an interesting playstyle they could have added into Veilguard is the choice of getting everyone to join your party or not. Like for example, you can kill Zevran in the first game and he never joins. Or the fact that if you don't do specific actions in DA2 you can completly miss out on recruiting Fenris or Isabella. Now imagine if they had that in Veilguard, obvs you go through the quest or maybe you can ignore them. If you chose not to get certain companions you'll get locked out of special areas in the map or even side quest which can prevent you from getting max respect for a faction. And then in the end game fight you could lose or have more casualties bc that faction refuses to aid you.
One example would be say not recruiting Taash, it will be harder to get respect from the Lords of Fortune, and dragon fights will be even harder.
Not recruiting Emmrich will make areas in the Necropolis cut off from you, as well as puzzles that involves wisps.
Anyways TLDR; I just miss having options in the game that greatly effect the end game, I miss that in the older games your choices can have terrible impacts for the world of Thedas or even just your story.
Do you guys think Dorian/his family have a garden for peacocks?
