Carlos smiled to himself as he entered the police department he’d just wrapped up with his classes and was hoping possibly he could catch his dad at the end of his shift. It had been a strange change in his life being with Mark after everything that happened back in Mexico but they’d formed a sort of routine when it came down to it. “Hey Papa, I just finished up my classes and thought we could go grab some tacos or something for dinner” he mused moving to sit in the chair across from his dad’s desk. @xtinyslip

Grandfather being death had come as a surprise but one he’d been prepared for thanks to John, it was hard to know he’d lost family especially given he’d never had much of one to begin with and his grandfather seemed to be his sister's closet protector. What did that mean if there was no longer the protection of Will or Phineas to watch out for her? “I’m very sad…I never got the opportunity to get to know him” He mused in a soft voice. It was a true statement after all he’d been nothing more than a kid that had just come to light. “I’ve never been to will reading before, I have no worries about anything Father…I know Gideon and I will always be taken care of by you” He mused even though the very sentence tasted like a lie, Finn didn’t care about them not in the way either of them deserved to be cared for. @fcrafcrtnight

Carlos had to admit with how busy his father kept him he didn’t really have much time to spend with his grandmother but that wasn’t to state he didn’t love her the same as his father had so of course he’d made time for her when he could. “Hello Grandma, I’m sorry I’ve been so busy lately, graduating early and ensuring that I could at least attempt to one-up my brother is hard work” he mused with a smile before holding out some cookies he’d made for her. “I hope you don’t mind me stopping by. I missed chatting with you and was hoping we could maybe have some tea and sweets if you aren’t too busy?” he questioned softly hoping she’d make time for him. @daydrcamings

“I suppose laughing until we cry is something that we can use in this crazy life” Carlos mused he was glad to see more of his original family popping up, he’d missed them so deeply, and with how weird things had gotten with the revel of his birth parents he didn’t want to think about that version of his life at this moment. He wanted to be free to still be Carlos Alvarez for a little while longer. “How are you doing Diego? I’ve missed you”

Carlos smiled softly listening to the other, he’d taken to drawing his designs in the park given how much peace it seemed to give him when the other sat down and began talking to him about her passion for her job. “That’s what I want, a career I look forward to doing every day” he mused looking at his designs. Maybe he should try for the mechanical engineering degree, it seemed as though that was what he initially signed up for and well it made him happy to build things with his own hands. “That’s how I feel when I create things, it starts as just an idea then when I can get it in this sketchbook it just makes everything doable you know?”

Diana Gordon everything about her was wonderful, she was beautiful, sexy, and deadly. He didn't know what he loved more but at the same time, he knew he had to be wary around her. Didn’t his Father state that he’d murdered the girl he’d come to love once before? If that wasn’t bad enough it was clear that if Daddy Dearest didn’t support your parent of choice well he knew how often Parker seemed to be under Finn’s heel. He’d been trying to pull away from Diana, he didn’t want her to hurt, she was far too amazing to be tied to someone like him until he felt her push him against a wall blushing madly. “Um hello Diana…did you not like the music box? I mean it was just a silly thing…” he asked looking at her and biting his lip.

Carlos looked at the other across from the table how interesting it was to see the great man brought to his knees but Carlos was being lied to, people were messing with his family, and that wasn’t okay. He’d learned back home under Dr. Gordon, how to not allow your emotions to enter in the games and be logical about how you went after people. Cecilia, Edgar, Parker, and even his own adopted father were crafting some web of lies that he was going to burn to the ground. Finn had the right idea playing on family which used to be important to John Kramer but it seems he’d forgotten his true purpose. “I don’t know, I think this is the funniest joke in the world, what was it you said to me the last time we met? That’s you’d make what Cecillia did to me look like child play? Shame someone got to you first huh? You know to be so cruel to Miss Tuck, she was rather sweet the time I ran into her, maybe you just like beating women, after all, that does seem to be your go-to victims so I guess I didn’t have anything to worry about from you huh?”

“Just like that? Not only does Donna run the show, but you dismissed Will as if he wasn’t the only person in this house who cared about you?!” Carlos was upset even more so when he heard how he’d treated Gideon, he felt protective over the other, and well he wasn’t going to stand there and clap Donna on the back for killing someone who didn’t need to die. “You stand there and say she is so important to your plan of revenge but can’t you see she’s just played your ace? If you allow her free reign like this she’ll kill everyone in this house and guess what Parker will one day kill himself because what’s the point of him keeping up with this show when everyone he loves is dead? I know love is a rather strange concept for you but it's strong and used better when that person is still living!” @lcvenderhcze
