My Hometown Comic Book Hauls (2 of 3) ---------------------------------------- Various Local Comic Books (Philippines) ---------------------------------------- My hauls after visiting 3 branches of National Bookstore (@NationalBookstore) in my hometown. Heads up to the NB staff for helping me check which branch had these books in stock. ---------------------------------------- 1. Zsazsa Zaturnnah Vol. 1 and 2, by Carlo Vergara (@CarverComics). The original graphic novel (which I still need to hunt) was already adapted into a movie and a musical back in Philippines. ---------------------------------------- 2. Elmer, by Gerry Alanguilan (@Komikerospc) - Seems to be the last copy for sale in Baguio City. Found this at National Bookstore inside SM. It's condition is not that great but I still bought it since I really wanted to own a copy of this award winning book. ---------------------------------------- 3. Books by Arnold Arre (@ArnoldArre) - "Halina Filipina" and "After Eden". Next time I'm back in the PH I plan to hunt down "The Mythology Class". ---------------------------------------- 4. Trese Case 1 and 2, by Budjette Tan (@Budjette) and Kajo Baldisimo (@KajoBaldisimo). Finally, I got my hands on Trese books!
