       ❝  I’VE HEARD THE PEOPLE IN SUPERHERO COSTUMES  are  planning  on  taking  some  pictures  together ...  should  we  join  them ?  ❞  mina  was  well  aware  that  between  the  two  of  them ,  carly  was  the  out - going  one ,  the  one  people  wanted  in  their  pictures .  however ,  she  would  be  lying  if  she  said  her  circle  of  acquaintances  hadn’t  been  growing  at  a  reasonable  speed ,  which  was  a  good  thing .  being  surrounded  by  people  could  be  nice .  ❝  i  didn’t  know  there’d  be  so  many  but  i  guess  it  really  is  a  popular  theme .  we  might  have  to  binge  the  avengers  movies  sometime ,  ❞  she  told  her  with  a  giggle .  ❝  or  one  of  those  tv  shows ,  though  i’ve  heard  they’re  bad .  ❞

“caaaarly,” she whines, eyes closed as she lays in carly’s bed. “i’ve been having nightmares again.” prim pouts up at the ceiling, though weirdly, she doesn’t actually mind the dreams. there isn’t anything that scares her, for the most part, but she hates feeling tired when she wakes up in the morning. “what do you think i should do? stay up forever?!” / @carlyserrano​

“definitely not your color,” ariel remarks as she comes up behind carly standing in front of a mirror in vanity, her own selections in her arms. awkward if carly hasn’t actually tried anything on yet and is just looking at the outfit she came in with. “washes you out a bit.”

“snap me out of my misery,” he grumbles, dropping into the seat across from carly without so much as a hello. “i’m never working the morning rush again.” realistically, he’ll have to, and easily the worst part of being a standard track graduate is the job requirement. unsurprisingly, he’s usually plagued by nightmares and restless sleep on the nights before an early shift. “how long have you been up?” his tone is both judgmental and envious. / @carlyserrano​

“i brought sour gummy worms and chocolate covered gummy bears, which are either really good or really gross and i can’t remember which.” simply because mara hasn’t had them in a long time. her parents were fairly into health, which was part of why living on her own for the last few years has been kind of fun. “ooh! and this, best for last.” she heaves the tin of fancy caramel corn onto the couch between them. “what are we watching?” mara had picked the snacks which means carly got to pick what they watched. / @carlyserrano​

          ❝  CARLY ,  ISN’T IT ?  ❞   despite  the  inquisitive  tone ,   there’s  a  confident  smile  on  her  lips ,  as  though  the  question  doesn’t  need  answering  ---  because  it  doesn’t .  genevieve  had  been  in  nemean  lion  long  enough  to  have  met  a  large  majority  of  her  fellow  resident ;  and  if  that  wasn’t  enough ,  well ,  she  did  spend  quite  a  bit  of  time  memorizing  faces  &  the  names  to  go  with  them .   maybe  the  blonde  considered  it  part  of  her  ambassador  duties ,  or  maybe  she  just  wanted  to  have  the  upper  hand  at  all  times .   ❝  do  you  know  how  to  shoot  arrows ?  it’s  pretty  easy  once  you  get  the  hang  of  it !  oh ,  and  i’m  a  wonderful  instructor ,  so  there’s  that .  ❞

“do you want me to get you a drink? coffee or something?” he offers subtly, noting the way carly’s eyes are starting to droop. shiloh is doubtful caffeine has any effect on his cousin at this point, but he’s not sure what else to suggest. “water, maybe, if you’re feeling dehydrated...” / @carlyserrano​
