Status: closed for @carmenpts Location: The Riverwalk - sitting outside an outdoor cafe Time & Date: 9am, around April 15th
After her birthday, which felt like it had happened ages ago, Jaime did his best to fall back into his regular lifestyle, despite the injuries and psychological effect the accident had on him. Brushing so close with a nearly fatal and violent end had given him something to ponder about, but he avoided doing that, instead rushing back into work, accepting a full-time position as an artist, and still managing to make regular appearances at the local bars and clubs. This morning was no different - Jaime hadn’t stumbled home to his shared apartment until 3am, and now sat nursing an espresso with dark shades hiding the circles that were left from his few hours of sleep.
The sight of a familiar brunette also existing cafe caught Jaime’s attention, and he stood with a smile and a little wave. “Carmen~” He called out in greeting, his tone sing-songy, and sounding less hungover than he even thought possible. Jaime pulled out the other chair at the little iron table, inviting her to come sit with him. It’d been a couple of weeks, maybe, since he’d seen her - and with it being a month since her birthday, Jaime couldn’t help but feel a little bad he’d been so busy and preoccupied lately to make more time. “Are you busy? Please join me, please? I’ve missed you.”
