When he goes to check the garden their usual picnic area and hang out spot is full of little magic lamp lights floating around like whimsical fairies. A very nice dinner set out on a blanket. The short siren coming up behind him and getting on tiptoes to put his hands over the others eyes.

Lauriam let out a laugh, his hand reaching up to touch on the siren’s hand. He had seen a glimpse of the surprise before Myde came from behind and needless to say he was happy for that. “Now that’s such a good surprise to come back to.” He said finally, turning around to face him, taking his hands on his and kissing them gently. “May I ask what’s the occasion?”

Something had shaken him and it took a lot to get him to the level of helplessness past the point of devout and sometimes completely unwarranted optimism. In the moment, the Keyblade Wielder barely knew where he was. When he was. Hysterics were in full swing. Shaking, grasping at his own clothes to make sense of anything. Like he’d just woken up from a year long nap after a long, gruelling battle and not knowing which way was up.

It wasn’t till the other person spoke up that his eyes found any sort of recognition.

He smirked and indicated that Myde would sit down before placing the gift box on the table. Inside, there would be a new traveling outfit, for their adventures together or whenever he wanted along with a golden grass brouche in the shape of a musical note. It was, obviously, enhanced by the pink haired man and had a small tracking spell in case of trouble.

“Frankly I was going to say you could have me for breakfast today but I thought it’d be better if it was for dinner since I do have another thing planned for later tonight.” He replied.

There had been sightings of sharks in the area lately, but Lauriam didn’t pay too mind of them unless it was a problem to the few fish he actually liked. But considering most of them kept to themselves and rarely went too far from the colorful coral, the merman hardly to worry too much. That was, until a mercreature was seen swimming right towards the reef, with it’s tail similar to a shark what was enough to put everyone under alert.

Lauriam kept to the anemones, watching and ready to flee or fight if necessary.

“A few very.... strong enemies.” Lauriam breathed out, leaning against a wall for support. He wasn’t going to show how injured he trully was to not worry the Siren. And of course he didn’t want him to have any need to feel like he needed to be avanged. “I’m fine, Myde, don’t worry.”

He had a sleepy smile on his face. The siren knew that playing with his hair was the fastest way to have him just melted and that was what Lauriam was at the moment, completely and totally melted under the other’s touch. He didn’t mind the braids, he actually liked them, even if the braids didn’t last too much once he started moving due to how layered his hair was. He hummed happily, just adoring the attention.
