Sin of Despair AU: First Sight

Emily and Vaggi are taking a short day trip to Pentagram City so Vaggi can show Emily more parts of Hell. Vaggi is talking about the town and the types of sinners who live there when Emily suddenly freezes and her eyes go wide.

Vaggi: Emily? What's wrong?

Emily:....Who....Is....THAT?

Vaggi looks to see Carmila Carmine walking down the street with her daughters.

Vaggi: Oh, that's just Carmila Carmine. Local Overlord, weapons dealer. NOT good news. Why?

Emily:......😍

Vaggi: Emily?

Emily poofs a bouquet of roses into her hands.

Emily: I must have her....

Vaggi: Emily, NO.

Emily: Emily, YES!

Vaggi grabs her wrist to keep her from going over but Emily keeps pulling against it.

Vaggi: She looks WAY older then you!

Emily: I know. She's aged like a fine sacrimental wine....

Vaggi: She has kids!

Emily: Such adorable little baby birds...

Vaggi: She's a WEAPONS DEALER who OWNS people's souls!

Emily: And IM going to show her the path to redemption! And true love! And the alter! *Muttering* And hopefully one day, my bedroom....

She gets out of Vaggi's grip and zooms off.

Vaggi groans.

Vaggi: Lovesick dork....

Just then her phone rings and she sees its Charlie.

Have you heard of the Emily x Carmila ship? And if so, what do you think of it?

I have and I actually like it a lot! I think it may be one of my top ships with both those characters

I think their personalities go together very well and I love a good age gap but this ship makes the age gap so fucking funny because the one that seems younger is actually a thousand year old immortal being which is so iconic of them

I also genuinely think this relationship would stress Vaggi the hell out... Sera too actually

Plus the idea of Carmilla opening herself up to someone new is adorable. She has Zestial who is an amazing friend and two daughters that she would do anything for but I think her past partner dying still haunts her and so opening herself up to that kind of love again especially if it's with an angel is just such a good dynamic to me

what carmilla means: back in my days austria wasn't just this tiny country in the middle of europe. no, sister, back in my days austria was the big austro-hungarian empire so even though my name comes from the alp area i must come from hungary or czech or ukraine or serbien or romania or something eastern european within the austria-hungary, not austria. or i'm just hella bad at geography and i actually do come from the alpine area of austria so middle euorpe but who knows i'm a walking mystery
