Carmo Convent's beautiful bones (Lisbon)
Carmo Convent's beautiful bones Lisbon Cathedral has a treasury and cloister that can be toured in addition to the main worship area. Another nearby attraction is the Carmel Convent and Church - which is now a museum since the roof of the main part of the church collapsed and was not rebuilt. Now the area formerly occupied by pews is grass, and they've collected relics from the church for you to see. The front part of the church did not collapse and that area is now a museum, with many religious items as well as an Egyptian sarcophagus and male and female mummies.
