Is Ike literally invincible or just really tough? Does he have a regeneration factor like the struggler?

Functionally, Ike is invincible.
But- technically- he is very mortal. It’s just that he is kind of a different power tier compared to everyone else on earth.
He can survive plenty of beatings and bullets and explosions. If a building fell on him, he would be… pretty winded. If you dropped missiles on him for a couple hours, he could certainly die.
The tension of the story is never going to stem from “can Ike win??” in battle situations. It’s going to be stuff more like “can Ike save the hostage?” “Can Ike figure out the enemy’s cloaking technique?” “Can Ike survive the psychic attack?
If someone is within punching range of Ike, he clearly just wins- like Star Platinum, from Jojo.
The only character that is physically a threat to Ike is his sister, Philistine.
