HI I’M STILL HERE I WAS JUST TEMPORARILY SUCKED INTO ANIMAL CROSSING LAND. Next for the redesigns SHOULD have been Andy and his gang but I forgot about two important people: Diaspro’s brothers! Carnelius on the left, Flint on the right. Let’s talk about them!

Because Quarzis is matriarchal, Queen Agata only focused on Diaspro's entire life, micromanaging it to become the perfect princess and queen. Her brothers, meanwhile, were allowed to do whatever. Diaspro ended up resenting them harshly, though not to the extent she hates her mother.

Carnelius is the younger of the three, and the most carefree - he mostly just lives his life of a prince with gusto. He hasn’t done anything relevant political-wise, mostly just enjoying the luxury while getting homeschooled by tutors. He is the most aware of Agata’s abandonment of them over the kingdom, however, and does try to help Diaspro in any way he can, even if she rejects the help 99% of the time. He’s a low-level Caster - sharing a Source of Earth with her sister, though he hasn’t pursued magic much. His title is Caster of the Sands, as that is his focus.

Flint meanwhile is the oldest, and he acts as an ambassador for the kingdom in trade agreements, as well as overseeing most of the internal politics - he acts as Agata’s advisor from time to time. His job is incredibly demanding and he’s away on work travel most of the time, so he’s not aware of most of the more personal stuff going on. He thinks Dia should be focusing more on her role as future Queen rather than her powers as a fairy so that their mother can finally rest (and shut up), and considers Carnelius a lazy bum who’s just wasting the tutor’s time and the kingdom’s money. He can’t use magic, but does live off a mix of coffee and anti-sleep potions.

"Hello!" A pink-haired girl greeted

"I heard it's your birthday today, so...I made you some assorted macarons!" She smiled happily

"Oh! My friend Carnelius also wanted me to give you this" She gave Yuuri an Amethyst necklace

She gasped in awe, staring at the pastel pink macaroons with admiration.

The flowers on top of the shells looked like they were painted beautifully with watercolor, perhaps looking close to being pasted on the shell.

"This is really beautiful!" she beamed, delicately taking a macaroon as her lilac eyes glimmered like an amethyst.

Just like the necklace handed to her.

"Oh! Jewelry!" Yuuri has never wore such jewelry. She usually see such necklaces like this one in advertisements where pretty female models wore them to show, which she was never allowed to wear such. It would be "girly" her mother would say.

"Good luck..?" she repeated, taking the necklace out of the box as she looked at the bright, sparkling amethyst gem that leered right back at her.

"W-well, tell him I said thanks as well! Thank you, both of you!"
