This a clip from a quick interview with Kenan and Michael from Hackney East London who I met by chance on the street Saturday. They say their biggest fear growing up in London is being stabbed. It's terrible to think that these two youth one aged 14 the other 15 have such fears at such a young age. When I get back to London I'm going to devote more time to this with the help and knowledge of the youth I speak to and with the help of George Turner who runs @carneyscommunity and lost the youth mentioned in one of his tweets on the 26th April 2017 So sad to have lost another 2 of our participants to #knifecrime in the last 4 days. Both with so much potential.... So great to see this post by @carneyscommunity about one of the boxers from the gym @spinner_89 who is a true testament that the impossible is possible when you put your heart and mind to it. To overcome the prison the mind creates can stop us from doing so much but not for this champ. Looking forward to see it on the BBC3.
