JK KJDSHJLHS. Ronnie is one of my dear friends and I’m v happy to have met her! Not only is she a lovely gal, she’s also a great writing partner! I love her writing and adore her aesthetic for both Kayleen and Ana’s blogs, the colours make me v happy. I also love how Kayleen, Ari and Mallow are a lil girl gang lmao. wuv u wonnie.

Tippy taps of small but alert footsteps continued their even pace, even though he tried to be light and sneaky in his stalking. Time passed and even if he was still young and inexperienced, the improvement was there and it was notable. The way he adjusted his breathing, the way small arms kept closer to the body to avoid extra sounds, the way he recognized the exact moment he needed to bolt out of her view each time she turned around, those were all signs of improvement.

But apparently, it wasn’t enough since it wasn’t long since he lost sight of her. Of course, a child’s frustration made him a bit careless and he immediately broke into a sprint, taking a sharp turn around the corner and unto an alley, the only logical way she could’ve gone.

However, he miscalculated. As soon as he took that turn from the corner of his eye he caught her accusatory stare. Caught, with no right to appeal. The soles of his boots slid across the cold pavement and a warm breath is released as a small cloud of vapor against the brittle air. Round eyes meet hers and, for a moment, panic can be read in them. He looks right then left, then foot pivots subtly behind him.

He’s ready to run off.

Harlow Haddock

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Alias: “Hunter”

He’s kind, gentle, but brutal when necessary. He doesn’t enjoy doing morally wrong things particularly either, but will do what he has to survive. Unlike his brother Ender, who has accepted the criminal lifestyle and even enjoys it to a degree, Harlow will never been be totally okay with anything about it-especially when it becomes much too dangerous. He is a smooth talker, a great speaker and leader-but is usually a bit too shy to take charge, used to Ender being the violent, outspoken and decisive one. He is very bookish and loves to read, fantasy fiction being his favorite but he also enjoys reading about physics and natural sciences. He was a very good academic, also unlike Ender, and wanted to be an astronomer. 

Harlow was once a human boy, unlike most monsters and cryptids ((in this universe)). Stolen in an attempt to ruin his partnership and business with his twin brother, the younger of the two (un)fortunately escaped, living life on his own. Harlow was then turned into a monster, something akin to a mix between a wendigo and a Left 4 Dead Hunter, with a hunger that was ultimately only satisfied by cannibalism. His original purpose was to hunt to the will of his masters, and eventually find his brother to sabotage his business, as well as kill his sibling. Harlow complied for the first little while, being an amnesiac and spoon fed information by his handlers. He later left, escaping with a goal to find the ghosts that haunted him, in hope that maybe he had a different, better life before he lost his memory. He now wanders the streets, searching for people he once knew, but after living there for so long, he became a downtown city vigilante, stalking the streets by night and attempting to keep both humans and monsters safe.

His mind was already wandering, but this scent hit him like a train. It was thick but subtle, somewhat familiar but... also off putting. Pithy and spicy. It made his nose itch and his attention disperse, so much that Achim tripped over an elevated crack in the pavement. Also, there goes his half full soda, flying somewhere in front of his, the young wolf had it slip from his grasp as he tried to stabilize himself. Shoot, it was cherry too, his most tolerable flavor...

Round eyes rise to look at what or whom disturbed him. A woman. Slim, black hair, looks at him funny. So he looks back in kind for a solid moment. Is there something on his face? Or... did she expect something? Why is she blocking the entrance.

“...Uh, i wanna get inside?”
