I would write fic but I’m so terrible at it lol (+no ideas). And yeah I saw that trend of readerxcharacter fics, so weird… but ask blogs, huh? It’s a shame so many good stories got dropped too, they make me sad ;o;

I'll bet you're not bad at it! Although I understand the no ideas thing, since I'm stuck in that area right now too. I don't understand reader x character fics at all, or making ask blogs for characters canon or not. There's so many ones with states or fanon countries that don't even have an accurate character, it's embarrassing. Some writers are really talented, though, so what they have can make up for all the bad stuff. If they get around to updating.

I was thinking that lately :< though I haven’t read any hetalia fics in a little while..

Neither have I, but I decided to take a look. Nothing looks interesting or well-written, although I have filters on for USUK. In the archive as a whole, it's mostly self-inserts or ask blogs. *sigh* Everything good is already complete or hasn't updated.
