So Caroline is back and Derek can't do anything because there's no way he'd see her since he's currently still attacking Dean.... Mell is flailing.
"Honey...? It's me."

sKYPE HATES ME. Be back on in a second! It likes to kick me off.
OH GOOD I WAS LITERALLY TYPING THE MESSAGE THAT CAROLINE COULD WALK IN AND YOU POOFED.
thats hilarious... the thought of Caroline walking in on mom and dad getting it on and having to cover themselves and scarring their child. Why am I picturing Caroline looking all confused with a "Daddy??? Why are you hurting mommy?"
meme;dealing with sam's death
Dealing with it? Caroline wasn't dealing with it. She didn't want to believe it, refused to in her own juvenile way. There had been too much death already - all the Hales she'd never gotten the chance to meet, Sam's parents included, her aunt, her grandfather, her mother, countless others as time went on - but this was something that hit Caroline harder than all of that. Some might say that this shouldn't hit her harder than the death of her mother, but the image she had of her mother had become diluted over the years with the knowledge of who her mother really was, what she had done, what she had been capable of, what she would've done. And when she realized that the only true motherly figure she'd had in her life, the one that got it right - that didn't leave her for days at a time, that didn't keep secrets from her, that didn't stop talking to her when she was dealing with hard things, that didn't not know how to approach her, the one that accepted her for who she was, connections to the family that had taken hers from her and all. And that person had always been Samantha, who was more than a cousin. Who had been her friend, her confidant, the one she knew that she could lean on, that female presence in her life. She had her Aunt Laura too, but Aunt Laura had always been her fun aunt that didn't quite have the maternal instincts Sam did.
Sam was warm, caring, fun, and never asked anything from anyone. She expected nothing from no one and that was usually what she got, nothing, because she hid from people what she was feeling because she wanted them to be better and didn't focus on her. She was selfless, until the end, and now she was gone and Caroline holed herself up in her room, her eyes blank and vacant, dry from all the tears that she had spilled, eyes rimmed red from all of the crying. She had a blanket wrapped tightly around her, and it was almost like she could pretend that Sam was embracing her once more, but yet it didn't at all. Because there was no warmth to be found there. Caroline felt so cold.
And she had never felt more alone.
