SO, I guess is sort of official now (to me at least) that my podcast, Firecast, will be hosted in another website! As some of you may know I used to upload 1 episode per month of Fircast on my blog carolsfire.tumblr.com (there is a tag in my caritolwf blog, too), but for economical difficulties (meaning I won't pay Soundcloud's service) I decided to find another way to upload Firecast.
Yes, it has taken me over four months to have everything settle and organized but I think I managed. There is going to be a whole new Firecast! I still have the list of all the people you guys wanted me to interview and hopefully I will start with fresh episodes this upcoming February.
Some of the Firecast's future updates are:
Talk-and-greet: I will ask a question to the audience about my future guest the first one to answer right will have one minute to ask-talk-greet my guess and that recording will become part of the episode.
Fast Q's: Minisodes of five to seven minutes for those shy or busy guests that can't hold a 20-30 minute interview. This means awkward questions, silly questions, challenges, and more games!
Specialized Episodes: You guys pick a topic of discussion and the respective guest will have to talk about it (of course as long as it's art related). An example could be white-washing opinion, some series you are into, tips for starters, etc. This will be 10-15 long episodes.
Like I said, these are only a few examples of what I am planning for Firecast 2.0 this 2014! If you guys have any ideas, I welcome you to share! Also if you guys were to request more artists I would appreciate you let me know what type of episode you would like them to participate in! But more of that later on this year.
