Mums best friends wants me to make a quilt for her granddaughter. I told her to have an idea of colours. When she arrived She went straight to my #carolynfriedlander stash then pulled out paint swatches she had picked up before coming to my house. How funny. They are perfect. 😆

Finally I have figured out how I want to use my long-hoarded pieces of Leah Duncan Maya fabric. When in doubt when it comes to your favourites, I say go for something that says "heirloom", in this case, the Wildabon pattern, a collaboration between Leah Duncan and Carolyn Friedlander. Hand stitching? Check. A design I think my nieces will be into, even when they're older? Check.
