Mondays are hard.
They're getting bigger. They're almost 5 times their weight when I got them. Feeling restless in all the things lately. Friendships as an adult are so much more difficult than friendships say in college. Adult friendships either seem incredibly fake or incredibly real. Restless with next steps. The master's in science that I've had my eyes on would require me to live in Michigan again. Fuck that on an excessive amount of levels. Restless with work. So what do I do? Submit presentation proposals all over the country and post ferret pictures, of course.
Been over two months of fun learning curves with the littles. They got a clean bill of health on Tuesday except for general shedding season gunk.
Capitalism is an entire new level of beast now that I’m a pet owner. Geez. I find myself wanting to buy them all the things. “Oh will they like that?”, “They’d be super cute with that thing.”, “I hope they don’t get bored so let’s buy them this thing.” Blah blah blah. $.$.$. I resist most of the time. Discipline only lasts so long.
