I have been obsessed with Madmen this past month (it’s the first time I’ve watched the show) and I was really inspired by a scene from season 2, episode 10 where Don kisses Betty on the cheek. honestly a million poses could be created from this show; it’s just so iconic.
the smoking accessory needed for these poses is by The77Sims3, here. if you already have a cigarette accessory for the right hand, it should be compatible. I have only used the accessory for the right hand so that if you want to use these poses in sequence, you don’t have to go back into cas to switch accessories.

• I have kept the posecodes as simple as I could possibly think of :P
• the last two poses will snap together, however they will not snap to the chair
• the easiest way to use poses b, c, and d is to put the sims in the pose, then adjust the chair/table with the alt key

• models are Holly Robins and Seth Monroe from Starlight Shores. oh my god Holly is honestly so gorgeous and Seth is not too shabby as a stand in for Don

this scene right here is what inspired me to even want to make poses. so with that, I decided to get give it a try, and here’s the attempt:
this was my first pose ever, something fairly simple to try to get me started
these were poses two and three, still fairly simple so I could learn.
these first three poses are inspired by this scene
finally I attempted the ones that caused my inspiration. as you can see, Nebula has two poses here but Gamora’s pose stays the same
I think I really wanted to make poses of this hug because Nebula’s reluctance shows in her posture until she leans into it. I really like this and could see it as being useful for a story.
weird stuff:
Starlord’s index finger ended up looking a little funky. I couldn’t figure out how to get it normal again, and messing with it probably didn’t help. however, his middle finger is bent to the left on purpose because Chris Pratt’s finger appeared to bend that way naturally in the scene
Nebula’s face can easily be obscured if you don’t choose Gamora’s hair with the pose in mind. updos, hair without too much volume, or swept to the left will work best. Gamora’s face can probably also be obscured easily, however I didn’t test this because Nebula is bald.
I wanted to close Nebula’s eyes in her second pose, but be aware that this will probably look weird on some eye shapes. Nebula looks fine here, but there may be weirdness on others
I’m also not really proud of Starlord’s “shocked” expression. I think making expressions was one of the most difficult parts
please ignore that the models don’t look exactly like the characters/actors. I didn’t want to spend that much time creating them just for taking these pictures, and I couldn’t find anyone who had created the characters in sims 3, or I would have downloaded them.
these poses are not poselist enabled. if I do gain a demand for that, I might attempt it, but right now I’m not really interested. pics with the pose codes are included in the download.
