I also might need Aurora accidentally falling asleep together because I am trash
St. Mungo’s didn’t seem much busier than usual, despite the attack. The fact that the waiting room was lined with aurors, and aurors alone meant they had done their damn job. Being battered, bruised, and wrapped with haphazard battlefield bandages didn’t stop Thomas, Graham and Carson from trying to cut out before a nurse could see them. It took Killian’s honest ‘Really, it’s for the best.” and Prissy finally hexing their asses back into their chairs to get them to stay put.
But there is nothing like being still for a moment for the day’s events to catch up with you. Carson was the first to drift off, her head slipping onto Thomas’ arm. He was too exhausted to make her move. It was well enough, because a few minutes later he and Graham bumped heads as the both nodded off, each grumbling and shifting to lean away from each other comfortably.
Norah heard about what had happened and got the hospital as quickly as she could, heart in her threat with worry about what might have happened to them. When she opened the door to the waiting room and saw the three of them asleep in their chairs, she finally let go of her breath, but she didn’t dare wake them. It was the most rest they’d ever give themselves.
Also Graham/Thomas finding each other wearing the other’s clothes... message got eaten by tumblr.
Graham looked over his morning brew, and blinked a few times. “That’s my shirt.”
Thomas looked down at what he assumed was a wholly unassuming grey button up. “What? How can you tell?”. Graham sat back in his chair as though he had just been stricken with unbelievable news. Rolling his eyes Thomas paused before continuing to his office, “Well, what exactly do you want me to do about it now? This or nothing.”
Graham shrugged dramatically, “Leave it. Spare us.” He sighed, turning back to his tea.
