Carson Daly and Savannah Guthrie Get Juvéderm, Botox Live on ‘Today’
Dr. Amy Wechsler came by Today on Friday to give cosmetic treatments to hosts Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly. Wechsler started off with Daly by injecting some Juvéderm, or fillers, for his smile lines. Daly said, “It does not hurt — and it’s not as painful as the tattoos, for sure.
Guthrie was the next patient up. Instead of Juvéderm, she got Botox. She took time to point out Wechsler’s background in mental health as Matt Lauer got giddier and giddier, saying, “You’re also a psychiatrist, right? OK, so I work with someone. We’ll call him Matt. Sometimes I feel like he judges my personal choices.” Guthrie said the injections didn’t hurt.
The results of Guthrie’s procedure won’t be apparent for a few days, so Daly was the only one who got the before-and-after treatment. He didn’t look noticeably different.
