when she'd insisted on him helping her fill in some of the silence they've been making their way down the unlit hallway in, he delivers with equally cheesy 70s era dialogue ------ she'd asked for a pick - me - up, not necessarily a pick - up - line. Hal woke up and did his chores around the farm. It took a little longer than normal since Hal had a slight hangover headache.He thought about Carter the whole time, planning on texting him when Hal got back in the house. Hal wondered if Carter would be willing to go on a date with him. Last night had been nice, even if it was just a small conversation.
Hal finally finished the chores and went inside the house. He took a quick shower before texting Carter.

Look. Everyone knows I'm a slut for Ducky. This ship grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go from day one. These two ... What else is there to say?
