New Year’s Wish:
When it comes to this upcoming year, there really isn’t much that Miguel had wished for once the clock had struck twelve, For the most part, he wants his 2019 to stay the same as his 2018 wasn’t that bad of a year. But he does have to admit, after discovering the possibly that Ernesto de la Cruz might just be the tío that no one else within his familia wants to talk about and meeting Héctor who seems to know the famous musician? Well, Miguel is hoping that if anything new were to come within this new year, that it would be to finally meet his idol and possible tío. Maybe then he could finally discover what truly was the reason behind his familia’s dislike for music and maybe, just maybe, Miguel could finally get that ‘NO MUSIC’ ban out.
Maybe then Miguel could finally express his passion for music to his whole familia and not just to Coco and his friends.
For 2019, Stitch wants to keep things just they way they are. 2018 was great for him. He has his friends and family. He’s doing good in school and isn’t getting in as much trouble. But that doesn’t mean there wasn’t bumps he had to hurdle over. He’s hoping to find some new romances in 2019 as well as discovering more about himself. He wants to improve on his music.
“ Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you through. ”

PART II : A LOOK TOWARDS THE NEW YEAR
As the clock strikes 12 and the world welcomes in 2019, Peri’s wish is simple: Find her sister and make up for lost time. Peri’s main outlook on life is the live it to the absolute fullest and not to waste any precious moments of it... and to her, well, a whole twin sister she never knew about for nineteen years??? That’s a whole lot of wasted moments...
12:01 AM, 2019 ---
When the clock struck midnight, Lilo found herself unsure what to wish for. Her first thought was her parents, but what good would a New Years wish do them? Nothing was going to bring them back. She thought about the future, and how many uncertainties it held. She couldn't justify wishing for things to be altered before she truly got to see how they played out. She thought about the things that she wanted; a dog, a job, her license. She thought about how nice it would be to have friends, and how much she wanted to visit Hawaii again. Then she thought about how lucky she was to have the family she did and the happiness the last three hundred and sixty five days had brought her and how scary change could be and, as the last second passed, she found her heart pleading for things to stay the same... if just for one more year.
i. Ashes Like Snow, Lily Kershaw ---
Won’t you meet me in the morning?
You left without any warning,
I don’t know where to put you now...
Ashes like snow, where did you?
ii. Paper Bag, Anna Nalick ---
Yeah, they talk about her; she smiles like she’s so tough.
She says, “Hey, can you talk a little louder?
I don’t think my heart is broken enough.
But someday, we’ll all be old, and I’ll be so damn beautiful...”
iii. You Gotta Be, Des’ree ---
All I know, all I know, love will save the day.
Herald what your mother said,
Read the books your father read,
Try to solve the puzzles in your own sweet time.
iv. All You Wanted, Michelle Branch ---
I’m sinking slowly, so hurry, hold me.
Your hand is all I have to keep me hanging on.
Please can you tell me, so I can finally see,
Where you go when you’re gone?
v. Before It Breaks, Brandi Carlile ---
I’m alright, don’t I always seem to be?
Aren’t I swinging on the stars, don’t I wear ‘em on my sleeves?
When you’re looking for crosswords, it happens everyday.
And whichever way you turn, I’m gonna turn the other way.
vi. Time After Time, Cyndi Lauper ---
Lying in my bed, I hear the clock tick and think of you.
Caught up in circles, confusion is nothing new.
Flashback, warm nights, almost left behind,
Suitcase of memories, time after...
vii. New Constellations, Ryn Weaver ---
There’s no walls and no ceilings as far as I know,
Just the echoes of scars and the unbeaten road.
Trip the gun on cautions that I’ve been sold,
‘Cause it's hard to believe that it's wrong to want more.
viii. King Of Anything, Sara Bareilles ---
Who cares if you disagree? You are not me.
Who made you king of anything?
So, you dare tell me who to be?
Who died and made you king of anything?
ix. Stars, Grace Potter And The Nocturnals ---
I know you’ve gone too far, so I, I can’t look at the stars.
All those times we looked up at the sky,
Looking out so far we felt like we could fly.
And now I’m all alone in the dark of night...
x. Re-Arrange Again, Erin McCarley ---
Words, they don’t ever seem to feel the same,
When you hear them over time.
How do you ever let go of the shame,
When you’ve left someone behind?
xi. Fight Song, Rachel Platten ---
And of all those things I didn’t say,
Wrecking balls inside my brain,
I will scream them loud tonight.
Can you hear my voice this time?
xii. Paper Doll, Bea Miller ---
I’m not a paper doll, can’t make me what you want.
You just build me up, to tear me down, enough’s enough.
Go, leave me alone, cut me down, but I won’t fall.
I’m not a paper doll, I’m not a paper doll.
xiii. Be OK, Ingrid Michaelson ---
I just wanna be okay, be okay, be okay,
I just wanna be okay today.
I just wanna feel today, feel today, feel today,
I just wanna feel something today.
xiv. Sunflower, Alice Peacock ---
You were born to fly so high.
Sunflower, everybody knows,
You’re the one that grows in a sunny place,
Such a happy face, and isn’t it amazing?
xv. Postcard, Bridgit Mendler ---
I’ll take that bright little spark,
And I’ll hold it tighter in my heart than all your little darts.
If you say I’ll never reach the moon,
I’ll send you a postcard soon.
peg hasn’t really set any specific goals for 2019 other than what she works on every year , aka her Career ™ , and stay as far away from drama as possible --- which has been hard lately for obvious reasons . she also intends to do more things charity wise , as if she didn’t do enough already , and hopes that her heart will stop f***ing her over for once . i think she also wants to develop more strong friendships , but at the same time she’s fine where she is ; the very few ( like four tbh ) people she is close with are people she trusts with her whole heart .
in 2019 , sally hopes to be more in control of her life , as well as hopefully find out what the hell was that shadowy figure in her picture . she’s also been thinking a lot about her memory loss , and kind of hopes to either find answers to what happened / what brought her to carthay , or simply learn to move on from it . she isn’t sure which path she wants to take yet . in addition to that , a part of her wants to be heard more --- especially when it comes to her close friends , though the idea is a little anxiety inducing . as usual , moving out and buying her own little apartment is still in the picture .
