Cartoon Heroes Paper Cut-Outs

Bravest Warriors

Set in the future world of the year 3085, The Bravest Warriors are a group of teenage heroes-for-hire who warp through the universe to save adorable aliens and their worlds using the power of their emotions.  Throughout the series, the heroes also attempt to rescue their parents who have been trapped in an extra-dimensional realm.  Each member of the team is bestowed with a ‘sticker pet,’ animal totems that can transform into powerful weapons.   

The squad is composed of Christopher Kirkman, the headstrong leader of the group.  Chris’s sticker pet is a cute little bee that can transform into a mighty sword.  He has an unrequited crush on his teammate Beth.  Chris is destined to become the immortal ‘Emotion Lord,’ a near omnipotent being who can warp reality with the power of emotion.   

Bethany ‘Beth’ Tezuka is Chris’ second in command and ultimately leads the Bravest Warriors when Chris goes missing in action.  Her sticker pet is a cat which can form into a cat o' nine tails with cat heads.  Caring and shrewd, Beth never gives up and often comes up with ingenious strategies to make sure a mission succeeds.  

The snarky Danny Vasquez is a technical genius who has created dozens of amazing inventions, including a time-machine and sentient androids.  Unlike the other members of the team who grew up in the Invisible Hideout, Danny was raised in the mean streets of the martian badlands; his sarcasm often acts to obfuscate past traumas.  Danny’s sticker pet is a dog that can transform into both a sword as well as a machine gun.  

Finally, Wallow is the heart of the team whose sticker pet is a falcon that can transform into an axe.  Wallow also has a special gauntlet that contains a computer A.I. named Pixel who is quite possessive of Wallow and jealous of his other friends.  Wallow has made many companions whom live with him at the Warriors’ headquarters.  This includes Impossibear and the adorable CatBug.  

The Merewif known as Plum would later become the unofficial fifth member of the Bravest Warriors.  Her species can transform from mermaid to a humanoid form as well as to a more powerful sea-monster form.  Wise and mischievous, she has a crush on both Chris we well as Beth.  

The ensemble cast for the show includes Alex Walsh, Liliana Mumy, John Omohundro, Ian Jones-Quartey, Tara Strong, Sam Lavagnino, Breehn Burns and Michael Leon Wooley.  

Created by Pendleton Ward, Bravest Warriors premiered on the Nicktoons Network in January of 2009.  The series continued on the Cartoon Hangover channel on YouTube beginning in November of 2012.
