6) what are some tropes that fan art of your f/o tends to follow? 

THE SHARP TEETH.. SHADOW EYES.. yellow sclera!!!! ive also seen a lot of short benrey and also long hair benrey which 💘💘💘💘💘 (every short benrey ive seen however has always been taller than me AJDKSNDKSNF i guess i win the hlvrai manlet award 💔)

ALSO every fanart with the sweet voice esp when theres new meanings made up .. love that. love it so much. esp the hc that it can be uncontrollable sometimes

7) did your f/o deserve better?

i genuinely enjoyed his character "arc" in the series but im a sucker for the friendship so yeah i wish they couldve gotten a better ending even if i did think their ending was suitable for the series itself (unless you count the acab stream as canon, but ive also heard everyone dies at the end so like idk lol i havent personally finished watching it)

8) do you even like the source your f/o comes from or do you only watch it for them & nothing else?

oh i fucking LOVE hlvrai so much ive only watched it a couple times bc its long but i enjoy it thoroughly and i 100% watch it for everyone.

9) do you distance yourself from other fans of your f/o or their source?

KINDA? but not on purpose .. its all instinct mr freeman im scared

10) how did you feel when you realized “oh of course i had to like That Character”?

it DESTROYED ME in a good way i literally went into the series with only fanart in mind and was like haha tberes no way and then i got to the end and was like haha i guess there is a way

11) do you think it’s better to have a copious amount of content for your f/o, even with the risk of finding a lot of ship art, or better to have a lot less?

i enjoy having lots of content for them bc i have suffered w having little to no content and its even worse than having lots of ship content. i honestly dont even really mind the ships with him persay, but it can be somewhat frustrating when i just want solo content.

12) aren’t you tired of being nice? this is an excuse to rant.

listen i know the whole t*mblr s*xyman thing is mostly a joke ESPECIALLY in this fandom and ive poked fun internally at myself because ive f/oed a couple of them, but the way ppl outside the fandom immediately tried to dogpile on calling benrey the "new t*mblr s*xyman" makes me kinda peeved. it feels like ppl slap that label on any somewhat popular character wayy too easily. like im not gonna go up to someone calling them a sexyman and yell at them for doing so but its just kinda like... dumb to me? we dont need to label every character that gets a sliver of popularity as a sexyman. its not a huge deal to me but its kind of annoying to basically see the same joke about benrey being one ykno. i HONESYLY DONT CARE about the whole sexyman thing but it gets tiring after a while to see basically the same jokes like im just trying to have a good time man
