The Nokken and the Shojo (Closed RP)

After getting not one but two new babies, Shojo needed a small break. Walle insisted she get out of the house and take a walk around the area, just to have a few moments of peace before returning to her little screaming bundles of joy (and dirty diapers).

She tied her hair back and walked out into the California sun, heading down the expansive driveway to the street where the other mansions of the part of town resided. In between the Greene manor and their neighbor's home was a lake that sat on the edge of the forest. Shojo decided to explore the area, walking along the lake's brim, looking at the tiny fish in the water, and picking up a few flowers or pretty rocks she found. She had no idea she was being watched..

He needed air. After that stint with his verse jumping and how draining it had been, he needed a walk. Outside. With air. 

Which was why he was walking down Main Street and crossing Olive. He did give pause at seeing a man with a bunch of carvings. ....Maybe... Getting his baby a present for when she got back would help a little. He slowed to a stop, looking over the carvings.

A Diamond in the Rough (Closed RP)

The day was just too beautiful for the queen to resist. She ordered a carriage to take her out to the countryside, just her a coachman and groom. Simple and quiet. The groom sat up top with the driver, chatting away as the queen sat in the carriage reading a book of poetry. The chestnut colored horse trotted lightly, enjoying the weather as well.

Finishing another chapter of poems, the queen sighed in content and moved to look out the window at the dazzling fields and emerald trees in the distance. The carriage turned a corner around a rocky hill and the queen watched the bumpy shadow the hill made on the ground and-

Wait. A shadow of a man appeared on the hill. He pulled a dagger from his hip and jumped. The queen screamed but it was too late. The man crashed down on the roof as several other men leaped out to attack, the groom and coachman quickly ambushed and pinned to the ground.

"Good afternoon," a man sneered at the queen, poking his head into the opposite window. The queen tried to escape but another grabbed her around the waist, laughing and holding her tightly.

"Unhand me at once! I'll see you all hanged for this!!" she threatened, thrashing as the men continued to laugh. Hands grabbed at her jewels, her fine dress, her shoes, anything that looked valuable.

"Oo, cor, look at those earrings!" one remarked, unsheathing a knife. "Lemme just lob of the whole ear then.."
