The second part of my day, I spent hiking Cascade Head Trail. A gorgeous coastal headland on the Oregon Coast with the amazing views. About halfway up, I saw what I thought was a piece of trash, so I went over to pick it up. It was far from that.
This was so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. A lovely tribute from a parent to their child. If we are lucky to live long enough, our bodies will eventually break down. Sometimes the mind does as well. But the love we have for one another will never fade. Love endures all things.
