Oooeeee new yarn!!! Arrived yesterday, so many exciting colors I had to immediately start knitting something (for Minigenue of course!) Oh but I’d never experienced yarn “hanks” before, what a pain I quickly realized as I sat trying to knit double stranded color work and ending up with a tangled up mess. I’m waiting for a yarn winder to arrive but I was impatient, so hand wound a few yarn balls, also something I’ve never done before. Started this Fair Isle sweater that will fit my big Twigling girls. Also finally took some photos of the MinIngenue sweater I finished last week too. I had told myself I would use a larger size yarn if I was going to knit a sweater for my big Twigling girls, but I love the colors of this yarn so much, I really wanted to use it. At the same time I decided that EVERY row needs to utilize two colors. Because I’m nuts really but as a result this sleeve took two days, ha 😆🤦🏻♀️ ... In other news it’s been an exhausting week, all of my bulldog kids have come down with a nasty upper respiratory infection. Many sleepless nights up taking care of sniffling, snorting gagging, and wheezing babies. Fortunately I am also able to take them to work with me for care too. There’s been lots of testing and treatments.
