If the students are pursuing any degree program, they are urged to start thinking about their dissertation topic. For defining the topic for a dissertation proposal, the student collaborates with his/her dissertation advisor or faculty advisor for making a choice of the topic for the dissertation.
Dissertation proposal
The research proposal is referred to as a comprehensive statement on the nature and extent of the research interests of the students. The students used to submit a draft of the research proposal in his/her seventh or ninth quarter to his/her advisor. The students are supposed to submit a written copy of the proposal to the members of the faculty committee before two weeks of the date of final hearing of the proposal. Also, a dissertation proposal is termed as a document, which is meant for introduction and summarizing the goals, methods of research and resources.
