Flying isn't my idea of fun. I love the process of quickly getting from point A to point B, but the lack of control and limited spacial awareness makes me anxious. Watching the shapes and patterns of the landscape fly by from a window seat keeps my mind occupied. I didn't fly a lot in 2016, but about halfway through, I discovered that timelapsing takeoffs is another way to stay distracted. This video is a collection of takeoffs from June through December. Next year, I intend to capture every flight for a complete 2017 compilation. All of the clips were shot with an iPhone 6S or iPhone 7 Plus. Check the HD box for slightly better quality.
