👊 — Fighting:

Fleur has barely had any experience with physical fighting. The only time she had participated in a “fist fight”, was when she was sixteen and wasted at a local party. Her alcohol tolerance is low and ‘till this day Fleur hasn’t figured out how she and her “friend” at the time, got into a physical fight. And she only remembers faint details of it, such as hair pulling, a few punches and scratching her “friend.” Of course, she was embarrassed by the ordeal when a video of the two fighting had surfaced. She apologized for the sake of her reputation. I think she could probably win a snow ball fight.

🔧 engineering / mechanics

generally speaking virgil is a pretty adept mechanic who’s worked on industrial equipment along with cars and motor vehicles. he either got a job as a janitor, an auto mechanic, or some other industrial-type job when he went from place to place, so by in large he’s pretty qualified. not like he gets to work on cars at elswood though...

To say the absolute least, Hawke is not that great at romance, and even worse at flirting. In theory, he could potentially create the best romantic setting but no. You’d think that with the amount of romance he consumes in a day, he’d become at least halfway decent with it, but no. He’s just hopeless. Completely and utterly hopeless.

🎵 — singing

Cricket’s genuinely a very talented singer. Not only is she naturally talented, but she had the means and capital to invest in training her ability growing up. If you’ve ever talked to Cricket you’re probably highly aware that singing was her talent in beauty pageants. She’ll admit it’s cliche, but she also saw no shame in winning by doing what she was good at. I honestly feel like she’s mentioned that she sang Carrie Underwood’s Jesus Take the Wheel at the Miss America competition like fifty million bajillion times.

what is something that others would assume them to be good at, which they actually aren’t good at?

Secretly he has to re-read cleaning labels because he forgets exactly what he’s supposed to do with the cleaning product. Also, he can’t sing. 

what is something people assume about them, that isn’t true?

Pretty much... anything. Virgil is the type of person who will subvert preconceived notions about him just to mess with people. That being said, I can imagine people assume he’s unemotional but deep down he is a huge sap.

what is a physical attribute they are very proud of? what’s something they’re physically insecure of?

He likes how he inherited his mom’s hair and eyes. Though, on the flipside he’s kind of insecure about... everything. Has lowkey paranoia that people can tell stuff about him just by how he looks.

Haneul: What is their biggest weakness? Their greatest strength?

Her biggest weakness would probably how private she is. By not talking about her problems, she isn’t able to create a support system for herself or let other people help her even if she needs it, keeping everything pent up until she snaps. It’s not healthy at all. Her biggest strength would be her mind; she’s intelligent and astute with a quick wit. She’s no super genius, but she does have a knack for loopholes and solving problems.

Hawke: Do they trust people easily? Why? Why not?

Logan: If they were a Disney princess, which Disney princess would they be?

Does Meg count as a Disney princess? Because she’d totally be Meg. I guess if we’re going with the official princesses, she’d be Elsa or something.

Virgil: How open-minded are they? Have they always been this way?

When it comes to gender/sexual orientation/race/religion, Haneul’s pretty open-minded, though her household as a whole might have not been. She’s never really seen the point of judging someone based on any of these things, though she does judge based on competence, work ethic, recklessness, etc if that makes sense.

Noelle: What are they most known for? How do they feel about it?

Gee, I wonder what she’s most known for? Well maybe it’s the fact that she never, ever speaks, and has since probably been dubbed Silent But Deadly. Except, well, she’s like, 5 foot tall and cries when she can’t find her notes in the correct place. Poor girl’s so stressed. Anyways, she’s also known for that dented up, dusty-ass board she carries around, and her big poof of white-blonde, sometimes gray hair.

Pascal: What is their favorite song? What is their favorite lyric from that song? Why?

It’s so dumb, but honestly, her favorite song is probably I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You, all versions included. Her favorite is the version by Twenty One Pilots, but the first version she’s heard is obviously the original, by Elvis. Her favorite lyric from the song is “Wise men say only fools rush in / But I can’t help falling in love with you.” It really calls out to the romantic inside her.

X: What’s one secret about them that they’ve never told anyone?

One secret that Noelle has never told anyone, not even her parents, or her childhood best-friend, is that she used to pray for God to give her back the ability to speak, or take away her ability to hear. She’d look at the kids at her school, and feel bad for being able to hear. Then she’d look at the kids in other schools and feel bad for not being able to speak. Stuck in the middle, she couldn’t decide if she’d rather not hear, or rather speak. So she prayed, and prayed, and prayed, and though luckily for her, nothing came to fruition, she’d never forget that period in her life where she would have done anything to change the gift she was given. It’s something she’s always been too ashamed to admit.

Nellie: What’s an adventure your character would like to embark on?

Being stuck in Elswood has essentially put a damper on all realistic adventures, but that doesn’t keep Noelle from occasionally day-dreaming. She’d always wanted to join her dad on tour, and see what it it’s all like from his side of the stage. Having always been underage, and needing to go to school, there was never a good enough time to join him, and now, thanks to good ol’ Elswood, it seems to her there never will be.

Cricket: What is something they are extremely bitter about?

NOTHING. Being immortal is number one. It’s ruined so much. Like, thinking God isn’t real or not being able to enjoy her year as Miss America. Also, dying. Bit of a biggie.

Logan: If they were a Disney princess, which Disney princess would they be?

...guys, I genuinely don’t know. I mean, the only Disney character that comes to mind isn’t even a princess. It’s Hans from Frozen. Fucking Hans. Damn it!

Young: What is a problematic opinion that they have, or used to have?

Look. There’s a lot. I feel like you knew that when you asked me. Cricket definitely has some problematic views on what it means to be a good person, what it means to be a friend, the ethics of manipulation, capitalism, religion, sex... just a lot.
