Hi there! I have a service dog who has been with/around me since she was roughly four weeks old, and when she underwent training I was also there. We did not, however, train her for public access (as I'm agoraphobic and all the money was coming out of pocket and was limited). However, because of this, she has severe separation anxiety. It has gotten a little bit better over time (lots of training, tips, and tricks) but she still stresses herself out when there's change (if I'm high manic and moving around more than my usual sedentary life) and during these times she rarely eats/leaves my side. But I can tell she's stressed from the excessive drooling, eye whites (more than usual), tail tucking, etc. Just recently it got so bad she refused to eat and threw up yellow (something an old vet told me would happen if she has an empty stomach?). Should I bring this up with her new vet, do you think, or continue to work on training for the times that I'm manic? (Also if you could please answer this privately, I may not see it if you do answer it, my timeline moves fast :c)

Yes, it would be a good idea to bring this up with her new vet. They can offer medication but will likely refer to a behaviorist for training and counter-conditioning, which is essential when dealing with separation anxiety.
