He’s going to realize Wander’s there in 3.... 2....
This Trending 27th I’m torn between Cashier Guy from “The Nice Guy” and Wander’s date from “The Date.”
Cashier Guy is just a hoot. His deadpan delivery, every line he says, just how done he is with Wander’s wanderiness. You have to watch that episode a few times to catch everything he says and really appreciate the delivery. Just... all of this. Every time I watch the episode I have to laugh at his lines. I was so happy to see him in the finale, to boot, so I know someone else out there likes him just as much as me.
And Wander’s date! She didn’t really do much of anything, but what she did do is very interesting. Clearly, that was her car. Clearly, she was in on what was going on, and, clearly, she was just cool with whatever. It takes a special sort of person to just sit there and put her lipstick on while someone’s threatening to blow up a planet. I like to think she’s like Awesome’s groupies and is actually a student. Polysci, big goals on the political playing field. Wander and she keep in touch, and he helps her study. But after Dominator destroyed most of the galaxy, I imagine she’d work on restructuring. Drafting up new constitutions and interplanetary agreements and whatnot.
I absolutely need a season three so that Wander can badger Cashier Guy forever, and I just want to see his date again. Anywhere, just chilling.
