the name sounds familiar, but im not sure if i ever saw them. do you have skype/aim/not this? would be much easier than asking a buncha questions
i don't much use anything else, sorry.
SD ska scene used to be the shit, I miss that :( then again, I don't even live down there anymore....I used to live in Spring Valley and booked shows all over SD.
A long time ago, I was really into the more punk/crust scene. Had you heard of Dead Policy?
Thanks Jack is actually really good. i like those dudes a lot. I take it you're from SD? or maybe theres more than one Thanks jack
Mhm
Bumfuck East County
the local scene around here is...just gotta wait for the next wave...hopefully of bands that dont all sound/replicate RBF haha. ill check them out though
Thanks Jack isn't bad though. Admittedly, though, the only time I saw them was without their horn section. I'd imagine they're better with.
ska's dead ;) ....but seriously, theres like no good ska bands around anymore :( it sucks. I miss booking ska shows
I wouldn't say ska is dead, per se, but a great ska band is pretty tough to find these days. Check out Sunny Side Up http://www.facebook.com/SunnySideUpSka
A buddy of mine's the bassist, and they're pretty great.
