OC Sketch Dump 01/05 - Personas/Mascots
I've always loved the concept of original characters AND drawing other people's original characters, SO, to honor one of my oldest passions, I decided to do a sketch dump of some OCs AND artists that I've come to admire over the years (and of course I'll be including my own haha) for my Patrons.
Top left corner, we have Vhazz, by @vhazzrhossze. Me and Vhazz have been friends for a long time, and they'd probably qualify as my "senpai". They're amazing when it comes to copying styles, and other than that they're just simply amazing.
Standing at the right is Cashoo by @pirate-cashoo . I've seen their work on deviantArt a few years ago and have been admiring them from a distance, until recently. They're an amazing artist, and I highly recommend them.
Lastly, sitting at the bottom is a recent one I made named Merry. She was inspired from my adventures on Gaia Online, which I deeply missed. I didn't get to really customize my avatar when I first made my account, but after giving Gaia a chance, I found it strangely satisfying. :)
I had too much fun with screentones, The Musical lol

A gift for the amazing @pirate-cashoo of her very own Cashoo. I wanted to do something to show my thanks for that awesome piece she did of Red & Hancock, & for just being amazing overall, lol. ^_^
I'm trying to get to the point where I can casually doodle an idea and be satisfied with it but it never looks good :/ what do your doodles look like?
Honestly, I’m such a massive perfectionist, I rarely leave anything as just a doodle…I feel the need to “complete” it, to prove to myself it’s not garbage. It’s terrible, really. The only “doodles” I have are things I never got to finish, or quick concept ideas. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much about making your doodles perfect. They’re called doodles for a reason – they’re quick ideas, a little rough around the edges, and that’s perfectly fine. I think roughness adds a lot of charm. it’s not a sign of weakness. And keep in mind that really good artwork often takes time, and the better you get, the longer your artwork will take to complete overall.
a lil sketch. Cashoo wishes you all a wonderful Halloween season! >:3c
