Thinking about Sam asking Cas to teach him Enochian one day because he knows that the dialect he speaks ties him to Lucifer and he always struggles to actually understand the common dialect of Enochian. And Cas does, and Sam panics a lot, hearing and using even that variant, but it's also empowering in some ways, and it makes him connect with his best friend instead of the devil.

Like our boy Dean grows up holding that band so close to him because his dad told him that it was the band he and his mother bonded over and it must be like- the epitome of romance for him. And he GIFTS CASTIEL A MIXTAPE OF THE BAND HIS PARENTS FELL IN LOVE OVER.

I honestly can’t stop thinking about Dean Winchester Character…

I just can’t ever stop thinking about Dean and everything he’s been through. Like this man should be shredded, a empty void of a broken and cracked man but he amazingly keeps going on and on. This man at the age of four years watched as his mother and home gets burned down into nothing but a pile of ashes, clinging to his younger brother, as his life gets brutally ripped out from up under him

Going through years of watching his father change and obsess over his hunting, neglecting the things that needed him most. Dean Having to become like a father himself at such a young age, Not even getting to have a childhood because he was too occupied by his fathers wretched malice against the evil he fought day in and day out and eventually watching his father become become the thing he hunted for all these years, a monster.

Dean having to keep all these things hidden from his brother to give him some sort to normalcy and comfort and a childhood that he was never able to obtain himself. All these years getting beat down into a perfect little soldier, having to shove down every fear and want and need that he’s every had and replace it with his fathers one proverb “all monsters are evil, they deserve to be killed, and it’s your job to do it.”

[how can anyone go through a childhood like this. This is one of the greatest example of child abuse I’ve ever seen.]

Going through his childhood into his teens living by this proverb, growing a bias against all things that go bump in the night. His only source of happiness coming from watching his brother grow up with a seemingly normal mindset. And then it all getting ripped out again when his brother leaves for Stanford ( which he probably somewhere deep down knew would happen) leaving him alone with the man that hurt him the most.

Dean going through more years and having to finally go to his brother for help when their father disappears and having to come get Sam to help find this man that hurt him so greatly. Watching as his brothers dreams and the love of his love eventually get destroyed and knowing Dean, feeling like it was all his fault for ruining what little life his brother had created for himself.

Watching his brother and the one person he truly cared about, decent into madness as the yellow eyed demon tries to take control of him, his father, the man who beat him down into such a dormant state telling him to shot and kill his little brother, who is deans beacon of hope in his dark dark life. And Having to watch the vessel of his father be paraded about by the demon that took all of this away from him

Later in life after some time on the road with his brother Dean eventually had to give up his own freedom for his brother and go to hell.

HELL

THIS MAN SPENT FORTY YEARS IN HELL.

THIS PLACE FILLED WITH BLOOD AND TEARS AND MADNESS

20 Of THOSE YEARS SPENT BEING BRUTALIZINGLY TORTURED

THE OTHER SPENT BEING THE TORMENTER HIMSELF BECUSE HE COULDN’T HOLD OUT TO THE PAIN HE FELT FOR HIS FIRST 20 YEARS.

CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE, BEING ENSLAVED AND FORCED TO KILL AND TORTURE SOULS FOR TWENTY YEARS ALL FOR A DEMON THAT PSYCHOLOGICALLY AND PHYSICALLY BROKE YOU EVEN MORE THAT YOUR OWN FATHER MIGHT’VE.

dean meeting a man, an angel that saved his soul from an eternity of damnation. Coming to trust someone, a supernatural creature at that put his marking on Dean Saying “this is the righteous man, a man I saved in the name of god himself.”

Deans has such and old soul and finally coming back and finding that he had only been separated from his brother for a measly year and being reunited with him while finding a new friend and ally in his savior, Castiel.

Angels and demons,

watching his brother become a junky desperate for demon blood

blood, lies, deceit

Castiel, His comrade and the one who he confides in working against him and losing his trust

Heaven and hell

Having to deal with LUCIFER

THE.DEVIL.

The evilest being on planet earth

Abbadon, Micheal, this hundreds of death, the trials, Bobby’s death, Kevin’s death, Charlie’s death.

All of these events building up sense of hopelessness in this man

He spent a goddamn year in purgatory. I DONE KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT IMAGINE HAVING TO LITERALLY FIGHT FOR YOUR OWN LIFE TWENTY FOUR HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK WITHOUT ANY MEANS OF ESCAPE AND HAVING TO FINALLY CONFIDE IN A MONSTER JUST TO SURVIVE, OPPOSING EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER BEEN TAUGHT.

That’s just….wow

And The mark of Cain

Turning Dean into a blood thirsty monster. The inner turmoil of his good heart and soul fighting of control of this demonic entity. violating him for the second time, in ways a person couldn’t even imagine. His own body being void of his control and replaces by a vicious and remorseless essence.

Again for the Probably 100th time being saved by his brother and best friend but having to deal with the backlash of everything he’s done and all those he failed to save and like usual putting everything on him, shouldering all the blame for everything that’s wrong in the whole goddamn world

And oh god the darkness, Having this unnatural and unwanted pull towards this evil being that’s trying to destroy everything he spent so long trying to protect

Sacrifice so much Sacrifice ( seems to be a repeating theme)

But in the end getting back somethings he’s always wanted. A mother.

But wait, nope

Her abandoning him when he needs her most because she “can’t deal with how much everything has changed” and saying that these two men that are now Sam and Dean are not the sam and dean that she know in love in her safe little pocket in heaven. Dean finally getting his mother back but her basically shunning him and not accepting him as the man he is. ( like he had any control over who he’d become)

Her coming back and him accepting her because dean has been hurt so deeply throughout his life he needs people who he feels he can trust even though they hurt him over and over (not including Castiel because dean understand that he does what he does because he believes it’s for the greater good).

But wait no she leaves his side again to team up with the people that took and tortured his brother and almost killed his best friend.

But again he takes her back

Because that, no matter how much it hurts, is the women that gave birth to him

“I hate you, but I love you. And I don’t know why”

Lucifer again, Lucifer’s child

And finally, all the fight getting torn out of dean when he witnesses his mother get sucked in a damn hole with the devil and his best friend of almost 9 year get stabbed through the back. His wings burnt into the ground in front of a dirty old house.

At this point dean was all out of fight and I’m honestly not surprised at his actions with Death.

I am astounded

On how much Dean Winchester has taken throughout all of his years. This man must truly be righteous to be abke to withstand everything that’s every tried to take his down.

Dean Winchester is a character that is so multidimensional he juxtaposes himself with his bloodthirsty callousness but vibrant and remorseful Essence that is perfectly unyielding and with a force of radiance grappling so deeply into the heart of this show
