Check out the new EP by Casiochrist (a side project of Chis Howaniec, of Wells / Materielle fame). Chris makes fantastic music in a variety of styles. Here, he focuses on a sort of lo-fi / circuit-bent dub aesthetic, to great effect! I was around when Chris bent some of the instruments he used on this album (a Casio SK-5, and some sort of alphabet reading desk, at the very least), it's awesome to see Chris still getting mileage out of them.
