i think this is because people who speak languages like german for example spell nouns with a capitalized first letter. so often it’s just habit and weird to us that english barely does have capitalized letters.
Nouns in english are /supposed to be/ capitalised as well, but there are a few of my Facebook friends who always capitalise the first letter of every word and it really shits me lol

Hi :-) i hate that. A lonely and empty ask box. So I'm gonna tell you sth that happened to me today. My older brother always makes fun of it that I'm maaaybe a little bit too obsessed with Castle and this morning I was supposed to be at my friends place but I returned home earlier and guess what I saw.
