We had 20 people at the EBU open source meetup at IBC and interesting discussions, for example about how to get open source to be taken seriously by broadcasters. Great to hear of lots of CasparCG projects from Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, UK and more. Let's hope we can do good case studies on them all!

BlackMagic Design just showed "DeckLink 4K Extreme" that will allow 1080p50 and 1080p60 with two channels, allowing both fill and key output on one card, something the "HD Extreme 3D" card can't do. It will require 2nd generation PCI-e. Expected to ship before the end of 2012. €1,095
