It's gorgeous, all the sprites and everything got reworked to be in a gen 2.5 style, your Pokemon follows behind you, they added Fairy type, newer Pokemons and evolutions (farigiraf, sylveon etc), retyped some Pokemon (ex Volbeat is bug/electric, Balstoise water/steel, Sunflora fire/grass etc now), physical/special split, trade evos only need items now and said items are all sold in Sootopolis, added the ORAS dexnav, made the shiny charm available mid game through a side quest, has every single Pokemon in the dex available (ex, the starters are in the safari zone), made every single legendary Pokemon in it available through side quests too, gyms elite 4 and champion have stronger reworked teams, idk if the regular trainers do too though, whole new minigames like multiple pinballs in the casino and an underwater "bug catching contest" in pacifilog, a wishing well that can give you random level 1 Pokemons, has some cheats available in your house like 99 rare candies or nuggets, and has the pokedex and every Pokemon's locations available on the game's webpage, YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR PC BOXES FROM YOUR BAG, ABSOLUTE GOD SEND, and more I'm probably forgetting
The only main issue is that, in battle, the screen flashes white for a second after you finish your turn, thought they might have fixed it since i last played
