Parties. Where was August to start about his tried-and-true first love? The first place to find a lukewarm beer, lukewarm music taste, and even more lukewarm... costumes? He wouldn't call himself a snob, by any means, but he did think he had one thing most of the plebeians of Saint Rivera didn't have — taste. He had seen at least three girls dressed as deer, a couple of dudes in Top Gun getups, and at least half a dozen of Amazon corset plus short skirt equals Disney princess of some kind.
He wasn't bored, per se. Fear not; he had been drinking plenty of beers to keep him company, and he had no problem sitting by and waiting until someone interesting walked by. Enter stage left, Casper Graham. They were in glee together, and he had talked to her, what? A handful of times? And of those handfuls, were most of them ill-timed jokes? Yes.
"Awooga," he beamed, sliding his feet just enough to get in her eyesight. "I really like your..." he let his eyes trail up and down her costume. Totally not checking her out but definitely checking her out. "What are you, again?"

"oh. it's you, weirdo," coraline said over their shoulder as a figure approached them on the park bench they were occupying. they couldn't sleep. the missing people were keeping them up at night, taunting their dreams as if it were their fault this was happening. there wasn't even any proof that the other world was responsible for people vanishing but coraline felt that it had something to do with it. and if their feeling was right...they felt like they didn't do enough to warn people. to help them. it was a lot.
bringing their knees to their chest they glanced at the normally perky casper. "i've been scared of a lot before," they said, looking to the ground now. "....but this missing people thing? too scary."
on the fifth day of clownmas +15/?: Casper & Marcella
“I fixed it.” Marcella says proudly, coming up behind him, her chin dropping to his shoulder as she leans over the couch and presents the silver daylight ring. The problem with living with someone who wore her pieces was that she was constantly scrutinizing them, finding little things to perfect. There was a section of the band that just wasn’t as burnished as she’d like, the intertwined metal branches had looked too pristine. Strands of her hair tickle his shoulders as the warmth of her finds him, a grin suddenly tugging at his lips as eyes tear away from his work to examine the ring. Casper had always been proud of every version of the ring— yet another thing that evolved alongside them, “For now.” A playful tone that showed his excitement as he slipped it on, knowing that in a week’s time it could be fine-tuned again.

Ash came into the movlie theater, looking around for Casper. He had said he wanted to see a movie after he got off his shift, and Ash had agreed. He would take any time he could get with Casper. After all, he was his little brother. Of course, Casper didn’t know anything about it. At this rate, he wasn’t sure if he ever would.
He sighed, walking up to concessions stand where his brother stood. He put on a smile and waved, then grabbed his phone. He typed out, “Hey, I’m not early, am I?” then turned it around for him to see.
