cassandra is balancing three cartons of orange juice and a grocery basket already loaded with things cassandra asked her to buy. she has been in the grocery store for three hours, probably due to her disaster in the dairy aisle and inability to decide between name brand and store brand in the cereal aisle. 

"really, i just prefer the whole orange, but i need to be sure my friend has what she likes."
