biography:
Cassandra grew up in a very normal family. She was an only child to her parents, who worked as teachers in a high school. Her mother taught math classes. Her father was a music teacher who instilled in her a love of music from a very young age. She did excellent in school, though not top of the class, and she was well liked by most everyone. As a child, she spent large amounts of time in her father’s company, learning to love music from all different eras and genres.
Her parents weren’t well to do, being teachers, but they provided her with everything she could possibly need, especially when it came to her musical talents. She learned guitar and piano, starting lessons when she was 5. With the help of her father, she also made the most of her vocal talents, becoming an accomplished singer. She started dabbling in song writing in high school, but she usually stuck with covers of popular songs from across the decades.
When Cass was 20, she was exposed to the terragen mist. When all was said and done, she discovered that she had acquired certain mental powers, especially strong when involving her music. She struggled with her music for a while after the powers surfaced, experiencing the strange effects that her singing or playing caused those around her. Even now, 6 years later, she hasn’t discovered everything that she is capable of, nor has she gotten a firm hold on controlling some aspects of her power.
Cass is a very bright, cheery person, who loves to socialize and flirt. She enjoys being the center of attention and performing on stage, especially for the enjoyment of others. Cass hates being called by her full name, or what she considers to be ‘cutesy’ versions of it, such as Cassie or Sandy.
