for: @cassandrabrookes location: babbling brookes ranch
Some people were dog people, others cats and some people were neither, Ethan however, was a pet person. He couldn’t have any growing up, their household was already big enough was the explanations to his pleas, but that didn’t stop Ethan’s heart longing for a furry friend. Dog, cat, anything he used to request, but they were all shut down. He also wanted a pony, which was shut down even more quickly. So when he meet Cass and the topic of her having horses as pets, Ethan jumped on the train.
To say Ethan was excited would be putting it mildly, ever since that serendipitous incident where he had quite literally bumped into Cass, he hadn’t be able to stop smiling at the prospect of potential interaction with her horses, Zodiac in particular. If work hadn’t been a thing, he would’ve taken up on that offer on the spot, or at least the next day. But work had been a killer and Ethan kept putting off visiting her ranch till he finally had a proper day off. That day was today. He had asked to exchange numbers, but she one upped him and gave him her card instead. The place sounded like a dream and when he got home and googled it, it looked like a dream too, wide open spaces, with barns and stables, all which Ethan couldn’t wait to see it in person.
Hooping off the cab at the location, Ethan allowed himself to wander around for a while before seeking out the familiar figure hanging around by the stables, he had already texted to alert of he was coming so his company wouldn’t be a surprise. “Hey!” he greeted her warmly, “I finally made it!”
